Do Something.org Love Letters for Senior Citizens

Do Something.org has teamed up with Meals on Wheels to be sure that lonely senior citizens receive a personalized Valentine’s Card with their meal deliveries this year.   To encourage the creation of these cards, they are offering a chance at a $4000 scholarship.  Students younger than age 26 are asked to create a personal card, upload a photo to Do Something.org and then deliver their card to the local Meals on Wheels chapter.  You may create and upload more than one card – additional creations earn additional chances to win a scholarship.   Check out their website to see the guidelines as well as to get some ideas.  You’ll also find a link to help you locate your local Meals on Wheels chapter. Even if you don’t win a scholarship – this is a great event to participate in!  The deadline for submission is February 15, 2014
